Little Mount Lake

Statom Group has been appointed by Thakeham Homes to deliver a major groundworks, reinforced concrete, and infrastructure package at the Little Mount Lake development in Frant.

Little Mount Lake is a purpose-built retirement village that will deliver specialist homes for residents aged over 65. The development is designed to reflect the surrounding architectural styles found across Wealden, nearby Tunbridge Wells, and the wider East Sussex area.

Project Overview

The project comprises a £7 million groundworks and reinforced concrete frame package, including significant cut-and-fill earthworks and complex water management measures to protect runoff to nearby pond areas throughout the construction phase.

The development includes four residential blocks, a central village centre, and separate energy and maintenance centre buildings. Hard landscaping forms part of Statom Group’s scope of works, contributing to the creation of high-quality communal and external spaces.

In parallel, Statom Group is delivering the full design and installation of the mechanical and electrical services for the retirement village. With a project value of 7 million, below-ground works are currently underway, with main works scheduled to commence in Q1.

Once complete, Little Mount Lake will provide a high-quality, sustainable living environment, delivering specialist apartments and cottages alongside shared amenities that support long-term community living.
