Statom North Secures Concrete Frame Package for Prestigious Haymarket Hotel Development
Statom North is proud to announce that it has been awarded the concrete frame build package by leading design-and-build contractor McAleer & Rushe for the new Haymarket Hotel development, located in the heart of Edinburgh.
This significant project win further strengthens Statom North’s growing portfolio of major civil engineering and concrete frame developments across Scotland, reinforcing the company’s reputation for delivering safe, high quality and efficient solutions on complex city-centre sites.
Project Overview
The Haymarket Hotel development comprises two reinforced concrete frame structures, Building B2 and Building B3, each featuring demanding structural elements and forming a key part of the ongoing regeneration of Edinburgh’s Haymarket district.

Statom North will be responsible for delivering the full concrete frame scope, including cores, slabs, vertical elements, transfer structures, and associated works, coordinating closely within a dynamic urban environment.

The project forms a central part of the wider transformation of the Haymarket area into a vibrant mixed-use destination, and Statom North will deploy its experienced engineering, operations, and safety teams to ensure the works are delivered to the highest standards.
We are also pleased to confirm that Barry McGuire, who has recently joined Statom North as Regional Operations Manager, will be supporting the delivery of this project, bringing additional leadership and operational expertise to the team.
