Statom Group is proud to announce its commitment to giving back to the community through a partnership with Husbands Bosworth's local school and parish council. The collaboration demonstrates Statom's dedication to fostering positive change and investing in the well-being of the community it serves.
Leicestershire County Council awarded Statom Group a project in Husbands Bosworth, allowing them to allocate funds for Social Value, a meaningful contribution to the local community. Recognising the importance of this endeavour, Statom took a proactive approach during the tender stage.
Prior to securing the project, Statom engaged with the local school, introducing their company and the upcoming work in the parish. In addition, they expressed their intention to donate a portion of the project's proceeds to a local cause. The school was among the first organisations contacted to share their ideas for how the funds could be used for the benefit of the community.
Following the project's successful award, Statom Group reached out to the school's head teacher, requesting a proposal on how the funds would be utilised and what benefits it would bring. Subsequently, a senior member of the Statom team met with the school's leadership to delve deeper into the details.
In a commendable display of community spirit, Statom extended its support to the local school by presenting them with a generous cheque of £25,000. This substantial donation will enhance the school's facilities, creating additional space for children to engage in phonics learning and upgrading their musical equipment.
Statom Group also allocated £1,250 to the parish council, which will be used to improve the lighting for access to the Millennium pavilion. This contribution demonstrates Statom's dedication to enhancing the local infrastructure and promoting community development.
