We have recently invested in five brand new Bucher Municipal sweepers mounted on DAF cabs, expanding our fleet and providing greater support, safety and efficiency across our projects.
We were keen to expand our fleet of sweepers to support the increasing number of projects we are working on without the need to rely on hired vehicles.
Our work consistently creates mud, dust and other debris, which we are constantly ensuring is cleaned up in a prompt manner. We know that, if not dealt with quickly, this waste can create safety issues on site as well as present a flooding risk by blocking up manholes and drains with silt both on site and in the surrounding neighbourhoods.
We are committed to ensuring all our sites are as safe as possible and that our impact on local communities is minimised. We know that the build up of mud and debris around a site damages the look and feel of an area and we are keen to maintain a tidy site and surround for residents.
In addition to maintaining safety, reducing flood risk and maintaining the local area, the instant availability of sweepers is a helpful tool should an unfortunate environmental incident occur.
These five new sweepers will initially be deployed in our sites on the south coast and then moved to other sites as necessary.
